My name is MISSY, FOUNDER OF SMALLTOWNSOURDOUGH 02809. Thank you so much for being here and supporting me. My sourdough journey started in February of 2024. I was looking for a hobby or a side gig, and sewing was not working out, so I tried my hand at sourdough. To my surprise, after a week of many feedings, my sourdough starter came to life.
I call her, “Marilyn mun-dough". I naturally leavened Bread with only 3 ingredients! I hope you LOVE MY BREAD as much as I do. Thank you again for your support of our neighbors and the joy we find in every loaf we bake.​​

Artisan sourdough made simple. At Small Town Sourdough, I believe in doing things the old-fashioned way. My sourdough is made with time-honored techniques, using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients.
The process of sourdough is all about timing, technique, and personal touch. All breads have been leavened naturally, meaning it has been leavened by a sourdough starter, not by commercial yeast.

Tips to store sourdough bread, sourdough will keep well for up to 3-5 days at a moderate room temperature of 18-20 c or 64-68f . the more humid the conditions become, the more chance the sourdough has of spoiling.
